Located at 4301 State Hwy 31 W, Tyler, TX 75709, EQ Autoworks operates as an auto repair shop serving Tyler in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Tyler, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Texas vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach EQ Autoworks at (903) 521-3030; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, eqautoworks.com.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 464 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Tyler.

We have always used dealerships for oil changes on our cars. However they were booked but recommended EQ Autoworks. I will definitely be returning. They were so nice and polite, took my car back asap showed me what they found recommended what to address before I left and what was ok to wait until I got back from my trip. I never felt like they were throwing big words at me just to cost me money. They were honest and seemed to take pride in their work.

Coye, David, Tiffany and the entire staff are outstanding! They fixed my car after another shop told me they couldn’t because they didn’t have the proper tools. From the very beginning, they were knowledgeable, honest, and professional. I’ve continued bringing my vehicle back for maintenance and service ever since. Every visit, they take the time to ask how the car has been running, listen to my concerns, and explain exactly what they find. Their recommendations are backed by diagnostics and real data—not guesswork or sales pressure. What I appreciate most is their integrity. They don’t try to upsell unnecessary repairs, and their pricing has always been fair. It’s refreshing to find an auto shop that’s honest, transparent, and truly cares about its customers. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy automotive service. They’ve earned my business for the long haul!

I was referred to EQ Autoworks for issues with my BMW radiator, and I was a little hesitant at first since I was unfamiliar with their work. However, from the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. The waiting area was also very clean and comfortable. David took the time to clearly explain everything that was going on with my car, along with the expected costs. I had planned to rent a car while mine was being repaired, but they already had a loaner vehicle available for me, which was extremely convenient. Their communication throughout the process was excellent. They kept me updated by text regarding the repairs and any additional items that needed attention. After service was completed, they also follow up with you concerning vehicle performance. Overall, they provided quality service at a reasonable price. EQ Autoworks will definitely be my go-to service provider, and I highly recommend them to others. Thank you EQ Autoworks
